We are driven by the motivating concept that the way to achieve profound advances in experimental sensitivity is to apply cutting edge, interdisciplinary techniques to long-standing and difficult scientific problems.
Topics that our work targets include:
- The size and nature of neutrino mass,
- The limits of chemical storage of quantum information,
- The origin of the imbalance of matter and antimatter in the Universe,
- The nature of physics at the highest energies and shortest distances,
- Experimental signatures of quantum gravity
We are firm believers that the most successful science will be driven by people who find fulfillment and meaning in their work. We have been privileged to work with a large number of excellent junior scientists over the last decade, and are eager to recruit and work with more.
If you are interested in joining our group, please contact Ben Jones at the University of Manchester, at benjamin.jones-7@manchester.ac.uk. We have positions open at PhD, PDRA and MPhys level, and are always seeking enthusiastic collaborators.
